NOVEMBER 8th, 2009 - West Coast Governor Neal Ruxton announces the latest plans to support the Melges-24 fleets on the West Coast.

"Working with local, national and international leaders, we have obtained both national and international support to run the 2012 North Americans and 2013 World Championships in San Francisco", said Neal Ruxton. This, if approved as proposed, at the upcoming ICMA annual meeting in Europe, will be good for both visiting and local Melges-24 sailors who will race on one of the best bodies of racing water in the world.

JULY 11th, 2009, San Francisco - JAM JAM wins Saint Francis Yacht Club's 2009 Series.

The Crew of Neal Ruxton's yacht JAM JAM celebrated into the night after winning the Saint Francis Yacht Club 2009 Club Series today.  "We had a great series this year" said Commodore John McNeill,"and JAM JAM did a great job staying ahead of the competition" he added. The Saint Francis Yacht Club ran the Series between April and July. Final scores for the top yachts were: 1st - JAM JAM (9 pts), 2nd - YOUNGSTER (18 pts) and 3rd - JAVELIN (27pts). 

 

SEPTEMBER 5th, 2008, San Francisco - JAM JAM wins the 2008 Golden Gate Yacht Club's Frank McNear Perpetual Trophy.

The Golden Gate Yacht Club, the current challenger for the 33nd Americas Cup, awarded the trophy to the crew of JAM JAM at an awards dinner after the final race of this 9 race series which ran over the summer.
